Design exhibition banner – Freelance examples

Over my final year of my design course I managed to get a variety of jobs in the design field. A regular job involved doing freelance design for for a local design company. This banner was on display for my graduation show – showing a few of the concepts I produced for them. I am very thankful their past and future work – it has really helped me to grow.

Modelled in SolidWorks and Rhino. Rendered in V-Ray.

Poise bathroom tapeware design – Banner

Poise tapeware set is created with elegeance, simplicity and a strong focus on visual communication.  Slide the tap handle from side to side for temperature and rock back and forth for water pressure. Leave it ‘poised’ in your favourite setting and save water by not having to find ‘that right temperature’ – use in conjunction with a continuous flow water heater.

Modelled entirely in SolidWorks and rendered in PhotoView 360.

Slade bathroom tapware design – Banner

Slade tapeware is a minimalistic tapware design where the tap spout is installed flush with the basin and rises out when water pressure is applied (much like lawn sprinklers). This design also promotes visually the temperature of the water through the height of the innovative tap handles.

Modelled completely  in SolidWorks and rendered in PhotoView 360.

Something I’ve always been interested in

I love when you can see the structure of things, having the chance as a user in its construction and taking a typically unusual form and making it flat pack.

Great site for free 3D models

Found this site that has some really nice free 3D models in 3DM (nurbs) and OBJ (polygonal) formats. I have recently used several models from this site in the renders for my DVD Tac wall system found here.

Toolbox render for course work

Had to design a sheetmetal toolbox recently for class. Found it quite a challenge to work with Solidworks sheetmetal function. The solidworks model was put through Rhino as I recently got V-ray and used it for rendering.
